Landlord Representation
Riverwood Properties specializes in shopping centers ranging in size from 5,000 to 150,000 square feet. As property owners ourselves, we value the importance of communication, minimizing risk and market awareness. Property Management
Riverwood Properties manages shopping centers for numerous third party owners as well our own portfolio. Regardless of ownership, our goal is to maximize the financial value of the asset through quality leasing, efficient maintenance of the buildings and common areas, collection of rents, management of vendors that provide services for our properties, and accurate financial reporting of operations. Our rigorous inspection and maintenance procedures ensure that our properties will look and perform as well today as they did five and ten years ago. Development
Riverwood develops for third parties as well as its own portfolio. We emphasize comprehensive project planning prior to the initiation of property acquisition and construction. Our planning encompasses careful site selection, review of market demographics and analysis of economic criteria, retail market analysis, entitlement feasibility, site engineering, architectural planning, and financial modeling. Adherence to meeting critical development benchmarks results in Riverwood’s extremely high project success rate.
Asset Management
Riverwood manages and leases over 100 retail properties totaling nearly 1.4 million square feet and valued at approximately $900,000,000. Our responsibilities include the raising of debt and equity capital, property management and leasing strategy, and project acquisition and disposition. We approach asset management in the context of an extremely dynamic marketplace – we constantly monitor capitalization rates, interest rates, lease rates, economic and market trends, and space supply and demand.
